Centrally located, these gorgeous apartments once formed the traditional brewery in the centre of the town and have now been completed restored as a collection of contemporary yet very individual living spaces right in the heart of this ancient Northumbrian market town. Within a few yards you reach the centre of Alnwick with its abundance of independent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafe’s. Not forgetting Hulne Park, the gorgeous grounds that surround the Alnwick Castle estate which is open to the public. Less than 10 minutes easy walk to the entrance gate, Hulne Park is a beautiful estate with several trails from 1 mile to 12 miles long. Alnwick Castle and Garden, with the famous Treehouse Restaurant is within walking distance, as well as the world-famous Barter Books.

The Baker’s Dozen is a lovely, clean property. We enjoyed the use of the balcony. The welcome pack was very nice, especially receiving milk when you have travelled from a distance. We had a great week in your beautiful property. We hope to be back soon.

We had a super holiday from start to finish. The Baker’s Dozen was a great base for the three of us to explore the local area. The property is just a few minutes walk from Alnwick Castle, some really good restaurants and pubs. Also, it’s just across the road from Morrisons, which was very handy. The parking space provided was more than big enough for our car. The apartment itself was clean and very well-equipped. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept so well all week. The welcome hamper included milk, butter, fresh crusty bread, shortbread and scones which was a lovely thought and meant we could have a cup of tea as soon as we arrived. The coffee machine was great and we brought our own Nespresso pods from home to use in it. The Digital Guidebook that was emailed to us a few days before our trip was so handy whilst out and about with details of places to eat and visit. We will return!

Great service from booking to arrival. The Digital Guidebook was very handy. The bed was very comfy and we had a great sleep. Alnwick town is beautiful and we enjoyed every aspect. It was lovely having tea, biscuits, scones, butter and milk upon arrival. The property was modern and clean. We liked the balcony!
