This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.

The bushes outside the entrance were very overgrown and long creepers were a danger to anyone arriving in the dark getting into and out of the property we got our coats wet i did tell the owner about this

....outside areas need urgent attention. shrubs block front entrance we got soaked trying to get in and out back patio although rural needs an overall.bathroom is rather cold towel rail too small and water not hot enough for a good shower okay on warmer weather I'm sure overall clean and cosy bed comfy In comparison to the other let's Dubrovin on the outside looks rather scruffy again due to some outside attention Curtain linings work a treat in the front bedroom but from outside they look a bit of a mess hanging down My comments are not detrimental in any way but constructive as it is a nice cottage
