Enter the property through the front door with space to store your outdoor coats and shoes in the entrance hall. A step down takes you into the spacious open-plan kitchen/diner with high ceilings and exposed beams. The farmhouse-style dining table is the room's focal point where you can all gather for sociable mealtimes. The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy for the family cook to prepare tasty food with a gas hob and electric oven, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. There is also a sofa and TV at the far end of the room where some of your party can relax and chat while dinner is prepared. Heading into the lounge you will find a cosy wood burner set into the brick-built fireplace, two more comfortable sofas and a TV. The two bedrooms are off the hallway, each with a lovely garden view. The generous king-size bedroom has dual-aspect windows and a small TV, and the family bedroom can sleep up to four guests with a double bed and a set of standard-size bunk beds. The family bathroom completes the accommodation and comprises a shower over the bath and WC.
Outside, there is a large, lawn garden to the side and rear of the cottage with garden furniture so you can enjoy dining alfresco in the warmer months. A short walk takes you to the private lake within the owner’s grounds which you can stroll around at your leisure. There is no light pollution here so sit outside at night and experience truly dark skies and see millions of stars.

Excellent location, an arable farm where dogs can be walked around fields and through small woods. Spacious, cottage, comfortable beds and nice and quiet.
Mr Fitzgerald
Cosy cottage in a lovely area and easy reach to coast and forest. The owner was lovely and helpful. Will have no qualms in returning in the future.
Mr Quigley
We had a wonderful stay at this holiday cottage. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided for everything we neede and more. Many places to visit within less than 30 minutes from the property. It is in a dark skies area and stunning views of the night sky are visible by just stepping into the garden. The cottage is on a farm, so there are various animals and swans on the pond, which all add to the charm. Highly recommend and we are already planning to return
