A vibrant, charming fishing community with a charming harbour, located in an area of outstanding natural beauty along the stunning Northumbrian coast. Seahouses has a wide variety of stores as well as a nice selection of taverns, bars, and restaurants. Numerous miles of beautiful sandy beaches are nearby, and boat tours leave from Seahouses every day if you want to visit the seal colony or bird sanctuary on the renowned Farne Islands. The beautiful castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (seat of the Duke of Northumberland), to name just a few, are just a few of the many castles and grand mansions to tour. Additionally available nearby are golf, fishing, and riding.

A very well kept, and clean cottage, with comfortable surroundings and great viewsâ¦and pretty friendly sheep! Everything met our expectations, and will definitely be coming back for another holiday. Thank you P.s my only gripe, was the sky broadband was only running at 10mps which is pretty poor for nowadays.

Dining chairs very uncomfortable, wooden bench! Not overly clean on arrival. Oil boiler very smelly in kitchen and dining area and windows hard to open. We were visited twice to tell us to put bin out, unnecessary and rude. Otherwise ok, location excellent for all local area
