The accommodation is immaculately presented with high ceilings and large windows which help to create a feeling of light and space. The sitting area benefits from a vaulted ceiling arranged in front of a feature fireplace and picture windows showcasing delightful views and is the ideal place to gather and enjoy spending time with each other. The sleek kitchen is fully fitted with everything needed to produce delicious food for the whole family and when it’s time to serve up, take a seat at the dining table where you can imagine spending many hours drinking, dining, and socialising. If the sun is shining, then throw open the patio doors and step onto the sunny decking area or if you’re feeling active then pick up your tennis racquet and take advantage of the on-site tennis courts. When it’s time for bed, guests can choose from three wonderfully appointed bedrooms; a ground-floor double, a king-size and a family room. Whatever combination of guests there are in your party there’s a bedroom to suit. In the morning, you’re already in the perfect setting with the beach at Beadnell just a short walk with miles of sandy beaches just asking to be discovered. Jump in the car and head to places such as Seahouses, Bamburgh, Warkworth and Alnmouth or go for a scenic drive to attractions such as Bamburgh Castle, Hadrian’s Wall, Northumberland Country Zoo, Dunstanburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and you can even take a boat trip to Farne Islands where you might get sightings of unusual birds and even seals. The Beach House is a stylish holiday home which is just perfect for a family break in Northumberland.

Seahouses has a wide variety of stores as well as a nice selection of taverns, bars, and restaurants. Several miles of beautiful sandy beaches are nearby, and boat tours leave from Seahouses every day if you want to visit the seal colony or bird sanctuary on the renowned Farne Islands. The beautiful castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (seat of the Duke of Northumberland), to name just a few, are just a few of the many castles and grand mansions to tour. Furthermore available nearby are golf, fishing, and riding.

We felt very comfortable and at home here with everything you need for catering for a family holiday. It was comfortable for the five of us, however Iâm not sure how comfortable it would be for 7 adults in the sitting room. Itâs great that dogs are accepted in a beautiful cottage - so often people with dogs are left with very old and worn out furniture, thank you for that. We will definitely come back as we felt very comfortable. The only thing that we didnât like were the flat bottom sheets on the beds. They kept slipping during the night and were quite annoying. You may want to have a look at the middle support of the curtain rail by the dining table, itâs very wobbly. The downstairs bedroom needs a lightbulb in the ceiling light.
