Located on an 1800-acre working hill farm just outside the beautiful Ingram Valley, this barn is perfect for groups of keen fell walkers, cyclists and even star gazers as it is located in one of the best dark sky regions of the U.K. There are endless walks and trails straight from the front door, with tracks to the Pennine Way and un-marked routes and bridle paths across the valley. For avid cyclists, explore the Sandstone Way or the road to Route 68 with tracks that stretch to Hexham. Located within the Northumberland National Park, venture into the town of Wooler to sample the local cafes and pubs, or explore the Cheviot Hills and the historic town of Alnwick with its famous Castle & Gardens and local high street.

Just back from our second visit this year, which tells you that we loved the property. It is remote but that suited us just fine. There are no amenities such as shops, pubs or eateries for miles so take that into consideration & go prepared.

Had a great time there in June & have booked a second visit for Sep
Mr Blair
We found the cottage to be very comfortable and welcoming. The owners provided lots of information about the farm and waymarked walks from the property. We enjoyed the remoteness, the views, the sheep, the birds and meeting the friendly neighbours.
