Nestled on Bockenfield Country Holiday Park in the quaint village of Felton, near Morpeth, Northumberland is this lovely single-storey lodge, Long View Lodge. Presenting stunning countryside views and a range of on-site facilities, the lodge is an ideal base for a family or group break, sleeping up to four guests. Before entering the lodge, park up and take in the calm and breath-taking setting that surrounds your abode for your impending stay. Step into the open-plan living space, where you can cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, wine and dine whilst enveloped by the surrounding landscape. A homely lodge all year-round, inside you'll find a sumptuous corner sofa, Smart TV with Netflix an Amazon Prime included, and an electric fire for snuggling up on colder nights for a movie. To bring the outside in, open the patio doors towards the front veranda, or explore the wrap-around balcony, where you'll find a stylish outdoor dining table seating four guests. During the day, there are open-aspect country views for watching wildlife while sitting back on the cosy five-seater corner bench. At night, you can stargaze in the clear night sky then sit back and enjoy the festoon lights followed by a relaxing soak in the bubbling hot tub, which you'll surely love after a day of exploring; there is truly nothing better. Inside there's plenty of storage in the well-presented bedrooms, including an intimate twin and a contemporary king-size, benefitting guests with an adjoining master WC and an additional family shower room. Set between the coast and the countryside, there's an abundance of things to do in the Felton and Morpeth area, suitable for the entire family; with historic sights to visit, beaches to relax on, and restaurants to dine from. For an immersive day out, head over to Northumberland Country Zoo and interact with farm animals, reptiles, and mammals or take part in a feeding session at Whitehouse Farm Centre. To explore the local scenery, embark on a trip the village of Walkworth where you can walk along the riverside and explore the medieval Castle. To experience the culture of Northumberland, travel towards the coast and visit Amble Harbour Village, digest the 10,000 years of history at Bailiffgate Museum or work through the array of activities at Cragside - National Trust.     Welcome pack was appreciated as well. The hot tub was the best we have had at any Lodge we have been to and was well used by us. Great location for days out with many great places to visit close by.

    Lovely hosts, left a lovely welcome basket for our arrival. Beautiful park to stay on, really peaceful and so handy for visiting nearby places Would highly recommend to anyone, really didn’t want to leave

    The lodge was filthy dead flies cobwebs n spiders all over dirty stained towels n bedding an overflowing filthy ashtray left on outside area outside seating and cushions unfit to sit on brambles n nettles overflowing in hottub area so unable to use totally ruined our stay start to finish won't return or use again zero out of ten
