As the night rolls in, retire to the bedrooms to catch up on your rest, including a double with TV and en-suite shower room and two twins with TVs, so you can continue your favourite shows to bed. Start the morning with a refreshing rinse in the shower or choose to relax in the bath. Your closest amenities can be found in the village of Felton, including a choice of pubs, restaurants, and convenience stores, whilst further afield in Morpeth there is a weekly market where you can pick up the finest local produce. History buffs will enjoy exploring Northumberland, with the Brinkburn Priory and Manor House or head to the National Trust site of Cragside, the home and gardens of a Victorian inventor. Alnwick with its impressive castle is also within reach, here you can also visit the Bailiffgate Museum and the beautiful Alnwick Garden with its unique tours around the deadly poison garden. Located between Morpeth and Alnwick, in rural Northumberland, is the quaint village of Felton. 10 miles away is Alnwick, with its Castle and now-famous Garden, which features Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden, and an ornamental walled garden. The village has a shop with a post office, coffee shop, pub, and restaurant. The castle is also well-known for its role as Hogwarts in the "Harry Potter" film series. Nearby attractions include miles of sandy beaches, dozens of castles, and boat trips to the world-famous Farne Islands, and Alnwick itself has a nice selection of shops, pubs, and restaurants. All in all, it's a great base from which to discover Northumberland and its breathtaking Heritage Coast.
