Longframlington 1 mile. A detached, Scandinavian log cabin on a small complex, near the village of Longframlington, close to the beautiful Heritage Coastline. This cosy chalet is a romantic base in a peaceful location, ideally located for exploring this lovely part of the country. There is compact accommodation, comprising an open plan living area with well-equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area, a double bedroom and a shower room. Through the entrance door is a decked veranda where you can sit and relax in the sunshine, or just sit and enjoy being in the Northumbrian countryside. This chalet is ideal for walkers and cyclists, as there is an excellent network of public footpaths and cycle paths from the front door, as well as local pubs where you can pause to enjoy a refreshing drink or a pub meal. The village of Longframlington has an award-winning grocery store, a first rate butchers shop and an excellent pub/restaurant. Just a short drive will take you to Brinkburn Priory, Cragside House in Rothbury, and the historic market town of Alnwick with its historic castle and stunning gardens. Discover the delights of the Heritage Coast with its endless, golden beaches, and the rolling Cheviot Hills, all within a 30 minute drive. Harbottle Lodge is perfectly located for discovering Northumberland all through the year.

The village of Longframlington sits at the heart of rural Northumberland, between the Cheviots and the coast and provides great access to a range of great walking opportunities. Brinkburn Priory is a pleasant, short drive away - a restored Augustinian priory in a most lovely setting beside the River Coquet. Just 10 minutes drive to the west is the National Trusts Cragside House and Gardens, whilst the Heritage Coast is just a 15-minute drive to the east, offering miles of clean sandy beaches.
