Seahouses also has a picturesque harbour and offers boat tours for you to explore the beautiful coast and wildlife further, or you can take a stroll through the dunes at Annstead Dunes Nature Reserve. Seahouses has a selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs, as well as a local store so you can stock up on essentials, however for more eateries and activities, head over to the nearby town of Bamburgh, where you will be able to sample local produce at the deli and visit the magnificent Bamburgh Castle and sandy beach. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few.
