Guests say

Portside is a well-located apartment in Seahouses with sea views and proximity to local amenities. Guests appreciate the quietness when windows are closed, the quality of kitchen facilities, and the thoughtful touches like a welcome pack. Some concerns were raised about maintenance and comfort, but overall, the property offers a cosy and well-equipped base for exploring the Northumberland coast.

Most guests found the apartment clean and beautifully decorated, with only a few minor issues such as mould on silicone and a shower head needing a deep clean. The property appears to be well-maintained overall.

The location is highly praised for its excellent sea views, proximity to the town centre, and accessibility to local attractions and amenities. It serves as an ideal base for exploring the area.

Guests enjoyed the comfortable beds and the quietness when windows are closed. However, some guests mentioned uncomfortable mattresses and issues with noise and drafts when windows are open.

The apartment is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and offers generous parking. However, there are several comments about outdated or malfunctioning facilities such as the TV and bathroom fixtures.

Guests were pleased with the welcome pack and the quality of items provided. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed and may vary.

We have had a thoroughly enjoyable stay last week. The property is very comfortable. We shall be returning next year. Paul and Helen Butcher The above statement can be published. The below statement is for feedback only and should not be published. We have only one complaint. We were unable to use the main television correctly. It seemed to be permanently on catch up. We were unable to access the free to air channels. We were unable to switch channels easily We could not find the programme guide. We pressed guide, selected a channel number, pressed ok. Channel U (uktvplay) is missing. We don't use an airfryer but the owners may want to consider including one for the property. Two maintenance issues. The first water heater illuminated bulb is broken. The second water heater switch gets warm. Cleaning issues. The shower head in the second bedroom requires a deep clean. The hand held shower wall holder needs cleaning. General issues. After four years the property is getting 'tired' . Sun damage has bleached the wallpaper in the kitchen. Sun damage has faded the lamp shade in the second bedroom. Sun damage has faded the yacht sail. The rug in the living room is showing it's age. The large coffee table is showing damage. Kind Regards. Paul
