With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an enclosed garden, it is also just yards from a good selection of interesting shops/galleries, tea rooms, a French Patisserie, a magnificent castle, and a beautiful riverside. 3/4 mile to a huge sandy beach. 2 well-behaved pets are welcome. A Beautiful Georgian House in the Heart of Medieval Warkworth Village
Castle Street Cottage in Warkworth dates back to the 18th century and has been expertly restored to provide a beautiful village house in the prettiest village in Northumberland. Located on the main street of the village, you are central to everything Warkworth has to offer. You’re also just a few doors down from a small bistro which is one of the best places to dine in Northumberland; The Old Post Office Bistro (you must book ahead as it’s very popular!).
This is the perfect cottage for experiencing the best of being located in a vibrant country village, with a range of authentic pubs, interesting art, jewellery and interiors shops and restaurants, magnificent Warkworth Castle and all within walking distance of a huge sandy beach. Warkworth is a destination in itself but also central for exploring all that Northumberland has to offer.

Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a prime location. Alnwick Castle and Gardens well worth a visit. A super meal in the tree house! We were impressed with the bus service running regularly through the village even on Sundays! 3 days was just not enough – we will be back soon!

This is a wonderful cottage! We were so pleased with the standard and cleanliness. In honesty we couldn’t find anything that didn’t want to make us live here forever! The garden is beautiful, even in the cold of November. Truly a wonderful weekend and we are planning a re-visit.
