The Bridge Barn at Warkworth is a gorgeous barn conversion conveniently situated in the heart of the picture-perfect Northumbrian village of Warkworth. The view from the lounge of Warkworth Castle is delightful and unexpected.
Sympathetically converted, it’s now a gorgeous holiday retreat in the perfect village for exploring the Northumbrian Heritage Coastline.
Fresh neutral colours used alongside original features create a relaxing ambiance in a ‘shabby chic’ style, with exposed white beams, whitewashed stone walls, cosy and a gas-fired stove for chilly evenings. Beautiful soft fabrics and interesting artwork combined with contemporary home comforts create a real home from home in this White Company-inspired village ‘beach house’. Spent a fantastic week at The Bridge Barn. Lovely place, perfect for exploring the beautiful Northumberland coast. We really enjoyed the beaches, our Springer Spaniel thought he was in ‘seventh heaven’! Really difficult to choose between them but Bamburgh, Druridge Bay and Warkworth stand out. We had great food at Bertram’s across the road and at the Fish Shack in Amble. We also enjoyed lunch at The Jolly Fisherman in Craster, but you do need to book ahead. Took the bus to Alnmouth and had lunch in the Red Lion and then walked back via the beach. Really enjoyed the Warkworth Castle tour – well worth doing! Thanks again.

A lovely relaxing four nights at The Bridge Barn, a lovely retreat with everything one could want for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We used The Bridge Barn as a base to visit Amble, Alnmouth, Beadnell and Bamburgh. Enjoyed lots of beach walks, weather not perfect but you just have to get out there! Great food everywhere from simple ‘hot kipper in a bun’ to fine dining across the road at Bertrams. The welcome hamper was much appreciated and Coquet Cottages checked in with us to see if all was OK. Thanks!

We stayed at The Bridge Barn in Warkworth for a few days before Easter. The place was amazing, great location and super comfortable. The welcome hamper was the best we have had anywhere. The customer service from Coquet Cottages was first-class, and our stay could not have been better. We would definitely book with them again.
