The pretty bedroom has an en-suite shower, whilst outside is a patio garden with panoramic views over beautiful countryside. A lovely cottage for couples on a romantic retreat who wish to walk, cycle and explore. This property is a five minute drive from picture postcard Danby and the Esk Valley. If you want to journey a little further, the popular seaside town of Whitby is a fifteen minute car journey from the property. The small village of Moorsholm is situated on the northern edge of the North York Moors National Park, between Guisborough and Whitby. The village offers a mix of traditional and modern properties, a church and a pub. Close by are Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Staithes, Runswick Bay, Guisborough and Whitby.

The only way I'd potentially choose a different place for my next visit to the area is if it's closer to where I want to be, otherwise it'll be this one again.

The cottage is in a superb location, was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect for exploring the North York Moors. We had a lovely week despite changeable weather and would thoroughly recommend this as a perfect place to stay.

They take such pride in the property, Carol checked in to make sure we were comfortable, and shared lots of information about the area, I really enjoyed walking from the cottage up and over the moor. It isnât too far off the main road, but so peaceful when sitting outside enjoying the views. We had an excellent week and definitely recommend the place.
