Liverton, a village in the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire is a great rural base from which to explore both the coast and the countryside of Yorkshire. Being on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, a variety of scenic beauty may be found all around. The hamlet itself has the air of a modest farming town, with its tradition seen in the extensive countryside and attractive cottages, as well as in the church's font, arch, and doorway, which date back to the 12th century.
