Park Road cottage in Blackpool offers a comfortable stay with its well-maintained gardens, ample parking, and strong internet connection. It's praised for its proximity to local attractions and the thoughtful touches provided by the owners. While some guests found the property to be spotlessly clean and cosy, others noted areas in need of a deep clean and maintenance.
Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property spotless, while others reported issues with dust, dirty skirtings, and unclean kitchen appliances, suggesting inconsistency in cleaning standards.
The property is well-located, within walking distance to Winter Gardens, Stanley Park, and central Blackpool. However, some guests noted the busy main road and challenges with parking, slightly affecting the location's appeal.
Guests generally found the beds comfortable and the house warm and cosy. However, some mentioned the need for mattress and pillow protectors, and a few reported issues with the bathroom fixtures, which detracts slightly from overall comfort.
Facilities like strong internet and a well-equipped kitchen were appreciated, but several guests reported maintenance issues such as faulty appliances and the need for more cutlery. The presence of games and a PlayStation was a plus, although some games were incomplete.
The owners provided essentials and a welcome document, which guests found thoughtful. However, it should be noted that while some guests mentioned receiving gifts, such as towels on the bed, these gestures are not guaranteed for every stay.

Very disappointed, this property was listed as a 4* accommodation however when we arrived the pictures listed were obviously from when the house was first listed as the accommodation could do with a serious overhaul, inside the paintwork needed refreshed, the front bedroom has mold and the back bedroom has water marks on the ceiling, outside looked tired and in need of a refresh, when we arrived we had to clean as the skirting and staircase were very dusty, we also need to cram pots pans, plates and cutlery on arrival, the bath panel was hanging off even after and a review in 2023 the toaster had clearly not been replaced, the pool table/fussball table had no white balls and therefore unusable, the front garden was littered with rubbish and the bins were full, the only positive was the beds which were comfortable, would rate this 2* at most

It is spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It is a reasonable walk to the beach and the town centre. It has a useful convienience store very close. Street parking only but we didn't have a problem.
