The delightful market town of Nantwich is located 5 miles to the south east of Crewe and stands on the banks of the River Weaver and the Shropshire Union Canal. It is famous for its outdoor Brine Pool which is one of the few remaining in the UK and heated throughout the summer. There are regular market days throughout the week and a monthly farmers' market showcasing the best of produce from the local area. Nantwich town centre is pedestrianised and benefits from some superb examples of historic buildings, and is well worth visiting in spring and summer when it comes alive with floral displays throughout the streets. Nantwich plays host to many events throughout the year, including The Battle of Nantwich in January, the Jazz, Blues and Music Festival at Easter and the world-famous International Cheese Awards in July. Both Market Drayton and Whitchurch are within 12 miles and well worth a day trip to enjoy their history and architecture.

The facilities are excellent with dishwasher, washing machine, range cooker in the fantastic large kitchen/diner come family room with a utility the size of my kitchen. The lounge was large and comfortable. The games room fantastic in size and decoration but unusable at night due the dimmer switch staying on dim! There was a problem with the water pressure but as there was only 4 of us, not a problem. Great bathroom (lovely design) and en-suite. Shame about the garden cushions. Need a waterproof box outside for storage. PLEASE LEAVE THE INSTRUCTION BOOK ON DISPLAY NOT HIDDEN IN ONE OF THE DOZENS OF CUPBOARDS.

Fell in love with the house

If anyone used water in the rest of the house the water diverted and the shower stopped. Learnt this the hard way, middle of my shower and water stopped as some one had a shower downstairs. So we had a rota the next morning, manageable for two nights but not if you were staying a week. The overall cleanliness was ok if you didn’t look above eye level. Garden furniture had not been cleaned had to wipe it all down before family could use it, some needs replaced and green mould removed. General maintenance could be done, tap in on suite loose, chipped paint work, trees in garden cut back, rail in main bedroom with net curtain fell down on my head. But we did have a great family get together on Saturday, there is loads of room and the kitchen and garden were a great space to entertain, bifold doors open and children played in the garden
