The property is lovely and spacious. Quiet and well situated. Warm and well furnished. Beds clean and comfortable. My only suggestion for improvement would be that the kitchen needs to be better equipped with fresh pans and trays of better quality and cleaner kitchen equipment. A pint of milk on arrival would have been nice, for that all important cup of tea after a long drive, but prosecco was left which was kind! I hope that this is helpful. It is a lovely place to stay would recommend.

The house is quiet and clean, a bit gloomy (itâs an old house so the windows are small) but it has every facility you could wish for. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms and showers were very modern and efficient. The hot tub was used daily as was the games room (the spidersâ¦â¦!!). The welcome gifts of Prosecco and cake were a nice touch. There is a superb fishing facility right next door, and a pleasant county walk across the fields and footpaths. The only cons were the oven - if you want to cook e.g. frozen chips for a large family you should allow way more time than usual, even on the highest setting. You should also be aware that the house is land-locked - there are no pavements if you want to walk to the village, so you need a car to go anywhere, and the village shop prices are sky-high, so make sure you do a big shop at the nearest supermarket in Chester. Overall however, it is a pleasant place to stay for a relaxing holiday.
