The property's proximity to the city centre, train station, and easy access to motorways is highly appreciated by guests, though some noise from the surrounding area is noted.

The property is described as comfortable with good shower pressure and comfy beds. However, some guests found the lounge chairs more formal than relaxing.

Facilities like a well-equipped kitchen, smart TV, and internet are praised, although there are comments about the need for additional dinnerware and occasional internet issues.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches from the host that would indicate thoughtfulness, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Well-positioned to also venture to the bustling cities of Liverpool and Manchester, choose ONEOFOUR as your idyllic base in Cheshire.

Chester has been dubbed "the pearl of the North-West of England" rather correctly. The city's ability to contain remnants from every historical era, including Roman walls and an amphitheatre, mediaeval churches, Elizabethan timber-framed mansions, Georgian terraces, Victorian restorations, and 21st-century architecture, may be its most remarkable feature. The city has a lot to offer visitors, including fantastic shopping in and near the well-known Tudor "Rows" and relaxing strolls along the Roman Walls, along to the River Dee, and through the gorgeous Grosvenor Park. Visit Chester Racecourse, spend the day at the famed Chester Zoo, or see the city's stunning ancient cathedral. Further out, the picturesque market towns and villages of Cheshire, the Wirral Peninsula with its world-class golf courses, the spectacular Welsh mountains and coastline, and Liverpool, Manchester, and the North Wales coast are all easily accessible by rail.

. 2nd time we have stay there. Kitchen is well equipped, perhaps short of one more large pan or casserole dish & a set of tongues. 10 minutes walk to the heart of Chester, easy pretty flat walk. We parked at public car park 2mins away which is handy… I think it was £20 If the property stay at this sane price (good value) we will definitely be back.

We parked at Chester Station, only a few minutes walk away, after buying a week's ticket. The house is well located with respect to the city and it takes only five minutes on foot to get to the centre. There is a frequent and relatively cheap Merseyside train service to Liverpool. The house itself was comfortable; kitchen appliances were good but it would be helpful if there were more dinner plates.

A great location, a short walk to Chester city centre, bus and train stations. Lots to see and do in Chester. Easy public transport (trains or bus) to Liverpool, Ellesmere Port and Nantwich well worth a visit.
