The instructions to get to High Rigg were a little confusing and we didn't spot any signs until the actual entrance so struggled a little to locate it. The place itself was incredibly quiet and picturesque which is fantastic to enjoy the scenery. We did find the bed a tad uncomfortable and being left with 1 and a half toilet rolls and no matches for the fire/BBQ was a little frustrating but we managed by buying some. The hot tub was one of the best features, lovely to jump into this after a long day plus the fresh cottage pies and sparkling wine really made the hut feel cozy and welcoming, would definitely stay again.

The Shepherds hut was very comfortable and well equipped. Fantastic views and an awesome hot tub. Would definitely go there on holiday again.
