This cosy property offers the perfect base from which to explore all the quaint market towns Cumbria and the Lake District has to offer.. Ground Floor:

Heading further afield, local villages offer traditional pubs and tea rooms for a warm Cumbrian welcome. The picturesque North Pennines and Eden Valley offer plenty for guests to enjoy, while a short drive will take you into the northern Lake District and Lake Ullswater, perfect for a steamer ride to take full advantage of the picture perfect setting. The popular Cumbrian market towns of Penrith, Appleby and Keswick are within a short drive, and Gilmore House offers an ideal base from which to explore the area.
