Walk for 2 miles through the Site of Special Scientific Interest and marvel at the vast array of wildlife, plus exquisite views, before enjoying a delicious pub lunch and hopping on the train at Foxfield for your return journey. Coniston Water (10 miles) makes a lovely day out. Enjoy majestic waterside strolls, climb to the summit of Old Man of Coniston for panoramic views or take a ride on the truly magical Victorian Steam Yacht Gondola. Enter via a gated entrance, where you ll find a gravel parking area. A gentle sloping path then leads you through the beautiful garden and up the steps to the property. Once inside, you ll find a warm and inviting open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The light and bright space houses a comfortable leather sofa to sink into after an action packed day to watch a film on the TV/DVD. There s also an extensive selection of books, puzzles, maps and guides for your enjoyment. The charming twin bedroom is decorated in a traditional style with an en suite shower room with WC. The gorgeous veranda can be accessed via the front door or French doors directly from the lounge area. This outdoor space is the perfect spot to sit and unwind, surrounded by nature. There s also a lovely mature garden, with a lawn, apple trees and wild borders, which your four legged friend will love exploring.
