A contemporary pod that is deceivingly spacious. Head inside and find an open-plan living room that has been optimised to make best use of the area. Rustle up a quick bite to eat in the kitchenette which has a hob, microwave, and fridge, then cuddle up on the sofa in front of the Smart TV. When you are ready to sleep, pull down the foldaway double bed. Completing the lodge is a shower room. Outside boasts a decked area with sun loungers and a fantastic hot tub with cabana style shelter, offering ultimate privacy. There are walks available from here too and a pub opposite that serves up home cooked meals, should you wish to leave the cooking to someone else for the evening.

The popular town of Penrith (8 miles) is considered the shopping and social centre of the Eden District. With a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants you will find plenty to keep you busy. The historic city of Carlisle is 13.5 miles away, explore the 12th century castle, spectacular cathedral or one of the many museums. You will be just 13 miles from Pooley Bridge, sitting at the end of the superb Ullswater. Join the hop-on, hop-off Ullswater Steamers boats or try out some water sports on the lake. Alternatively, if you prefer hiking, try the superb Blencathra (20 miles) or the mountain Skiddaw, accessible via the market town of Keswick (24 miles).
