A small kitchenette offers everything you’ll need to cook up breakfast or a simple meal, whilst to the rear of the lodge, there’s a large shower room. If you’re wondering where the bed is, don’t worry as one of the sofas folds down to become a double bed. In the summer months, throw the doors open and extend your living space by incorporating the decking where there are two loungers and a hot tub.

Despite the countryside location, you’re 8 miles from the bustling town of Penrith and 14 miles from Carlisle, both of which have a range of shops, eateries and amenities. You can also access the northern lakes to the south of Penrith, with Ullswater’s stunning scenery and famous steamers only 13.5 miles away. Also worth a visit is National Trust’s breathtaking Aira Force (19.5 miles).
