The Stables it outstanding and the reviews were spot on. Fab location not too far from anywhere near but still quiet and surrounded by great countryside. The attention to detail for it being a 'home' is just great. It is extremely spacious and fitted our families needs perfectly. The Wi-Fi was great throughout the house. The house is lovely and warm and we had the fire on but not for heat just because it was beautiful. There is everything you could ever need in the house. Beds are so comfy and everything has that luxurious touch. Plenty of games which we loved and played. Helen and Mark are really lovely and so welcoming. Best welcome pack we have ever had and great to open cupboards and you find salt, pepper etc. There is a hot tub and bbq but we never used them. Definitely have a visit to The Farmers in Baycliff, delicious meal with brilliant staff. Great to have in-depth instructions for the appliances etc. We will definitely be back. Honestly one of the best homes we have stayed in!

Made full use of the hot tub even in the rain, which was great. The local roads were quiet which made them ideal for cycling, There were 10 of us between the two accommodations on site . Our only comment would be that although the Stable and Cottage are on the same site to get from one to the other you have to walk a short way on the main road. We all had a lovely week and would definitely return.
