Guests say

Langdale Lodge receives high praise for its superb condition, well-equipped amenities, and thoughtful touches, including welcome packs that delight guests and their pets. The lodge is consistently described as clean, comfortable, and a perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Reviewers consistently mention the spotless condition of the lodge, highlighting its excellent standard of cleanliness, which contributes to the overall comfort and appeal of the property.

The lodge's location is praised for being an ideal base for visiting nearby attractions and enjoying the natural beauty of the area, although a few guests noted the absence of an on-site shop as a minor inconvenience.

Guests frequently commend the lodge for its comfort, mentioning the cosy atmosphere, warm environment, and comfortable beds, which enhance the overall experience of their stay.

The lodge is lauded for its well-equipped facilities, including a kitchen with everything needed for a week's stay and extras like Sky TV. However, a few guests mentioned the lack of certain amenities, such as a clothes horse or coffee pods, which slightly impacted the perfect score.

The thoughtfulness of the host is a recurring theme, with guests appreciating the generous welcome packs and special treats for both humans and pets. While these gifts greatly enhance the guest experience, it is politely noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed with every stay.

It is obvious on entering the lodge that the owner takes great pride in making Langdale feel like home from home. It is very cosy and spotlessly clean. It is nice to stay in a dog friendly lodge that has good quality utensils, a comfy bed, fluffy towels, plus a few basic necessities. A great holiday for the dog too as there are lots of good walks within a short drive. The site is clean, well looked after and peaceful. I'd also recommend using the pool, gym and beauty salon too. We found the lodge to have everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return in the future! Thank you Shona for your thoughtful welcome pack, great communication and for allowing us to use your beautiful lodge!
