This summary has been generated using feedback from guests who have stayed at this property

Yealand 36 is a well-received lodge with guests praising its spaciousness, cleanliness, and good facilities, including a hot tub. The location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to attractions. Some guests received thoughtful touches from the owner, enhancing their stay. While there are mentions of maintenance issues, the positive aspects seem to outweigh the negatives, making it a recommended choice for a holiday stay.

Cleanliness

The lodge generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with several guests finding it clean and tidy. However, there are some concerns about pet hair, dirty drawers, and a few instances of unclean outdoor areas and hot tubs, which suggest room for improvement.

Location

The location is frequently praised for being peaceful, quiet, and convenient for exploring the Lake District and Morecambe Bay. The proximity to local amenities and attractions is appreciated, although some guests noted a lack of nearby supermarkets within walking distance.

Comfort

Guests find the lodge comfortable, with a spacious interior and well-equipped kitchen. However, there are several mentions of uncomfortable beds and broken blinds, which detract from the overall comfort level.

Facilities

The facilities, including the hot tub, are highlights for many guests. Nonetheless, recurring issues with maintenance, such as broken toilet seats, fridge problems, and other minor repairs, indicate that the facilities could be better managed.

Thoughtfulness

Several guests mention receiving gifts such as chocolates and fizz, which are seen as thoughtful gestures. It's important to note that while these gifts are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.
