We had a lovely week visiting family and recommend Birkdale as it has lots of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. We also enjoyed eating at Remedy in Churchtown, the cakes at Tastebuds by the Wharf in Rufford and, for a good value roast, the Toby Carvery in Formby. Most nights we cooked our own meals and the kitchen is really well equipped to do that. A lovely stay. Thank you.
