A beautifully-presented ground floor holiday cottage, located just outside the village of Kirk Ireton in the rolling countryside of Derbyshire. Luxurious throughout and providing spacious, contemporary accommodation, this Kirk Ireton cottage provides the perfect hideaway for couples looking to enjoy this beautiful part of the Peak District. All on the ground floor level, in this Peak District cottage you will find a beautiful sitting room with beams and a woodburning stove, enjoying uninterrupted views of the countryside beyond, along with a romantic double bedroom with en-suite. Outside this Derbyshire cottage is a very pretty wrap-around garden with furniture dotted around, so you can enjoy the Peak District views at any time of the day! The lovely village of Kirk Ireton is made up of lovely sandstone buildings, many of which date back to the 17th century and boasts a village pub where you can enjoy a drink with the locals. There are also some wonderful walks to be had from the doorstep of your Derbyshire cottage. Explore the delightful small market town of Wirksworth, the National Stone Centre and the delightful surrounding countryside including Carsington Water and the High Peak Trail. Also within easy reach of your Peak District cottage are the country houses of Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House and Alton Towers and Gulliver's Kingdom theme parks. Whatever your preference, this is the perfect romantic cottage base from which to enjoy the Peak District, at any time of the year!

The market town of Wirksworth is close by and Carsington Water and the High Peak Trail can be easily reached. Enjoy wonderful, scenic walking and cycling or visit Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.
