The well-equipped kitchen, on the other side of the dining room, has a fascinating "fossil spotting" wall and from the kitchen there is a wet room and a double bedroom, whilst upstairs you will find a comfortable king-size bedroom together with a twin room and family bathroom. Outside the cottage there is a patio garden which is a really lovely spot to enjoy a cup of tea before deciding where to go that day! In Youlgreave there is a small shop and Post Office, together with a selection of good pubs serving food, while a larger range of amenities are available in the nearby market town of Bakewell. From this splendid cottage, wonderful walking and cycling can be enjoyed in the Peak District National Park, along with the Monsal and High Peak Trails, both of which are traffic-free routes. With the magnificent Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall also within driving distance, this cottage is in the perfect cosy spot to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

Surrounded by stunning countryside, the ancient village of Youlgreave winds its way along a narrow limestone shelf, situated between two of the area's loveliest valleys - Lathkill Dale to the north and Bradford Dale to the south. Once the centre of Derbyshire's lead-mining industry, this charming village now plays home to three pubs, all serving food, two shops (one with a Post Office) and a delightful medieval church.
