Guests have praised Church View for its tasteful decor, comfortable furnishings, and prime location in Buxton, close to local attractions. The property's Georgian charm and peaceful setting have been highlighted, alongside the convenience of a private parking space. While some minor maintenance issues were noted, the overall experience has been highly regarded, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Most guests found the apartment to be clean and well-maintained, though there were isolated incidents of cleanliness issues such as a blocked shower and cobwebs. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule, hence the high score.
The location is consistently praised for being central and convenient, with easy access to Buxton's attractions, parks, and restaurants. The private parking and proximity to the town centre are particularly appreciated.
The comfort of the apartment is frequently commended, with guests mentioning the comfortable bed and the warmth of the apartment. However, some guests noted the lack of wardrobe space and hanging facilities for clothes.
Facilities are generally well-received, especially the kitchen and the quality of towels. However, there are comments about the lack of a washing machine, dishwasher issues, and limited cooking equipment, which affects the score.
While guests have mentioned welcome cards and gifts, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of such gestures across all stays. Therefore, the score is set to null, and it should be noted that such thoughtful touches, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

The bubbling blue waters of Buxton's eight thermal springs, which maintain a constant 28 degrees Celsius, first drew the Romans to the town. Buxton's current Palladian splendour was designed and built in the 18th and 19th centuries by successive Dukes of Devonshire, this includes the magnificent semi-circular Crescent, The Great Stable and Hall Bank. These magnificent buildings and gardens, as well as the Opera House's full programme and annual festivals of music and arts, are still open to the public today. Many picturesque towns and villages can be found throughout the area, such as Bakewell, Ashford-in-the-Water, Castleton, and Edale, all of which offer excellent hiking opportunities. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, two of the area's most awe-inspiring landmarks, are just a short drive away. The Peak District is easily accessible from this location.

The area around the flat was quiet and very close to the centre of Buxton. I would have no hesitation in recommending the flat for a relaxing break.
