Discover plenty of pretty, short walks from Hope village or follow the 8-mile Great Ridge trail, which will see you climb to the summit of Mam Tor and cross the ridge to Lose Hill, taking in some astounding Peak District views as you go. Visit some of the dramatic caves this area is known for, including the Blue John Cavern, and spend time at the Ladybower Reservoir, in the Upper Derwent Valley, where there are circular foot and cycle routes aplenty.
