Some minor issues with maintenance and cleanliness are noted, but overall, the property offers a tranquil and enjoyable experience.

Most guests found the property clean and well-presented, though there were a few mentions of areas that could have been cleaner, such as the BBQ and pizza oven. The inside is generally praised, but some outdoor maintenance issues slightly lower the score.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful scenery, and proximity to nature and walks. The peaceful setting and wildlife sightings contribute to a high score, despite the mention of a steep hill to the local pub.

The property is described as spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for guests and pets. Some guests found the furniture and beds to be less supportive, and the pillows a bit firm, but overall the comfort level is rated highly.

Facilities like the hot tub, sauna, and generous outdoor space are well-received. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as the pizza oven being out of order and the BBQ needing cleaning. The wifi is also noted as temperamental.

The host's thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests appreciating the welcome pack and the host's responsiveness. It is noted that such gifts enhance the experience, though they are not guaranteed for every stay.

The whole family enjoyed everything about this cottage, taking advantage of the facilities, the walks and the short trip to the town centre. Can strongly recommend Ye Old Mustard Pot for meals too :-). Thank You!

Sauna and hot tub made our stay just perfect for that relaxing break away. Met two of the maintenance team, Kieron and the other I didn’t catch his name but both very nice guys. Gave us lots of information on the area and recommend a few places to visit. Blue Ball just a few minutes taxi ride does some great food. Thanks for a great stay!
