Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage for its stunning views, spaciousness, and luxurious amenities such as the hot tub and games room. The property is highly recommended for family gatherings and relaxing breaks, with its comfortable bedrooms and well-equipped kitchen. The owner, Huw, is commended for his friendliness and helpfulness.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several reviews noting it as 'spotless' and 'immaculate'. However, a few guests mentioned areas where cleaning could be improved, such as under sofas and on top of wardrobes.

The location is described as stunning and beautiful, with superb views and a peaceful setting. Some guests noted the remoteness and the need to drive to shops and attractions, which may not suit everyone's preferences.

Guests find the cottage very comfortable, with special mentions of the huge beds, en suite bathrooms, and cosy living areas. The underfloor heating and log burner add to the comfort level, making it a cosy stay.

The facilities, including the hot tub, games room, and children's play area, are frequently highlighted as highlights of the stay. There are some minor maintenance issues mentioned, such as a jammed pool table and a dartboard needing replacement.

While guests appreciate the welcome box and the provision of robes, there is not enough consistent mention of thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such amenities are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Plenty of space for the whole family inside, outside and in the huge jacuzzi. Great play areas for the grandchildren and the views from the cottage were beautiful. We were in daily contact with Huw, (owner) who was very helpful throughout our stay with places to visit and any maintenance required. The fresh hen’s eggs for sale each day was a bonus. We had a Tesco delivery the day after we arrived which was ideal.

Attended the hot tub all the time and checked we were ok. It was clean but not spotless, hoover is useless and carpets need a good clean, darent look under the sofa, tops of wardrobes dusty, this makes it a 4 not 5. Would still recommend it though, there was 11 of us and we all loved it and sad to leave.
