This beautiful cottage forms part of the oast house that stood in lush countryside in Three Oaks near Hastings. The cottage has been transformed into a lovely holiday home where couples, friends and families can now enjoy time together in this peaceful location. Immaculately presented throughout, there are three charming bedrooms, a bathroom upstairs and a walk-in shower with toilet and basin on the ground floor making this cottage the perfect choice for a family holiday. The large, modern kitchen has all that you need to make it easy to prepare everything from a quick snack to a delicious dinner, so you can gather together around the table planning days out over breakfast, or catching up with the events of the day over an evening meal and a bottle of wine, perhaps from one of the two local vineyards. Then settle down for a good night's slumber with only birdsong to disturb you from your beauty sleep in the morning. On chilly days, the lure of the woodburning stove together with the deep, comfy sofas will have you settling down to relax the day away, or if you are holidaying in warmer weather then take a book, some sun lotion and settle yourself in the garden, sit back and drift away breathing in the country air. Well... the only surprise was the lovely welcoming treats (the Malbec was particularly lovely!). Hop House itself was fabulous - everything as per the onsite 'brochure' and such a lovely setting. Spotlessly clean, everything you could possibly need and just so relaxing. The garden was really delightful too. Very quiet, peaceful retreat in easy travelling distance of all that is good in East Sussex (particularly Camber Sands - what a beach- and Bodiam Castle - such a beautiful place). I can't recommend Hop House & Zoe highly enough - if you have any interest in the area, you really shouldn't look beyond Hop House for your base to explore!

The house and garden are both beautiful as always. Was nice to see the games and books back again (as took away after covid times understandably). The rooms are all airy. The most important part is the beds are comfortable and the showers are amazing. Stargazing is a must in this garden with the dark sky not spoilt by city lights, obviously a bonus being in the country etc We loved the welcome pack too. Perfect for when you have had a long drive and you can have tea and biscuits straight away. Thank you for the wine too. We were very lucky with the hot weather but equally so, we have enjoyed our stay when it rained too. Our dog loves being at Hop house too. We did miss seeing the birds from the old pear tree from a few years ago but you can't have it all eh.lol Thanks again Zoe and Roger.
