Guests say

Riverside Cottage in Rye is consistently praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and prime location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, thoughtful touches, and the dedicated parking space. The cottage's cosy atmosphere and stylish decoration are frequently mentioned, alongside the warm welcome provided by the owner.

Guests have described the cottage as 'spotlessly clean', indicating a high standard of cleanliness that contributes to the comfort and overall positive experience of their stay.

The cottage's location is highly regarded due to its proximity to Rye's main street, ease of access to local attractions, and the bonus of on-site parking, making it an ideal base for exploring.

Reviewers frequently mention the comfortable beds, cosy fireplace, and homely feel of the cottage, suggesting a high level of comfort that has enhanced their stay.

The cottage is celebrated for being well equipped, with a large kitchen, modern amenities, and a roll top bath. However, one mention of a minor maintenance issue with a light slightly lowers the score.

The owner's thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of welcome gifts, dog amenities, and a well-stocked kitchen. While gifts are warmly received, it is politely noted that such personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed.

A large dining table with seating for all offers the perfect place for relaxed family meals. An archway from the dining area leads through into the well-equipped kitchen that has everything you will need for whipping up a delicious meal including a range-style oven with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, DeLonghi espresso coffee machine and microwave. A comfortable cottage and full of character with excellent modern amenities. It was clean and well equipped for catering. The location was really close to the town centre and also to lovely walks. It was quiet. The neighbours were friendly. Parking a bonus.

This cottage is lovely - really cosy and comfortable, great when storm Bert arrives for the weekend! We had absolutely everything we could have ever needed and the helpful information before arrival was really useful. The cottage is in a fantastic location, only a few minutes walk from the town. Thank you so much for our welcome gifts and for a great weekend!
