Amethyst Lodge is praised for its spaciousness, quiet location, and comfort. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting separate from the main park and the inclusion of amenities like a gas BBQ and outdoor furniture. The proximity to beaches and town centres is also a plus. Some guests mention thoughtful touches such as dog treats.
Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with several guests finding the lodge clean and well-presented, while others noted issues with dust, cobwebs, and unclean kitchenware. The presence of both positive and negative feedback suggests an average to slightly above average level of cleanliness.
The lodge's location is generally well-regarded for its quietness and proximity to local attractions. However, concerns about the safety of walking along the busy road to access main facilities slightly diminish the overall satisfaction with the location.
Comfort is consistently highlighted as a positive aspect, with guests finding the lodge spacious and well-furnished. Room for additional items like a travel cot and the overall peacefulness contribute to a high comfort level.
Facilities and maintenance receive mixed reviews. Guests are pleased with the available amenities and the option to use the nearby holiday park facilities. However, several maintenance issues such as broken blinds, a problematic front door, and a lack of clear instructions for appliances affect the score.
Thoughtfulness is evident in the provision of dog treats and holiday park passes, which guests found delightful. However, as these extras are not consistently mentioned or guaranteed, the score reflects a generally positive but not universal experience.

Firstly, unable to access the lodge for well over an hour of arrival only to find that we had been given the wrong key code. Just acquired the correct key code within minutes of Sykes office closure for the day. About to go home again!! Also, bedding was very substandard and in poor condition. Much dust and cobwebs around the lodge which we had to clean. Kitchen utensils poorly equipped and cooking trays etc very dirty indeed. Overall, we would not return there due to the above.

Close to Lymington and its leisure centre which you can join for the duration of your stay. Very spacious accomodation ample room for 6. Welcome book v helpful particularly recommendations for beaches. Outside space good as relaxation area. Just a few gripes which for me if rectified would have changed my review from v good to excellent Cooker not v clean no toilet paper in property on arrival. All in all would defo recommend and thank you for allowing me to stay.
