This converted old dairy is situated in the heart of the Isle of Wight, amongst stunning scenery on the outskirts of Gatcombe, just four miles from Newport. This cosy cottage is ideal for a couples or friends, wanting to enjoy the delights of this beautiful island. The accommodation is all set over the ground floor and features a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy twin bedroom with delightful views, and a sitting room with dining area. Outside, there is a small seating area where you can sit back and relax whilst savouring the beautiful and tranquil surroundings. The rural village of Gatcombe is a hub for country pursuits; enjoy challenging mountain biking rides or stunning walks on the downs, whilst a gentle stroll through the village will bring you to the wondrous 13th century St Olaves Church. Newport, often regarded as the main town on the Isle of Wight is just four miles away and has a wide variety of amenities including shops, restaurants, bars and a multi-screen cinema. For history lovers there is plenty on offer with Carisbrooke Castle, Newport Roman Villa and museums within a short distance of each other. The Old Dairy is the perfect cottage from which to explore this wonderful island, at any time of the year.
