This property enjoys a quiet village location in the village of Whitwell, just two miles from the Isle of Wight s beautiful south coast with its abundance of beaches and warm microclimate. The village itself is home to a family run pub which is located a ten minute walk from the property, whilst just three miles down the road in Ventnor there is a wide choice of pubs, restaurants, and cafes to choose from, many of which can be found on the town s esplanade. The beach at Ventnor has a fantastic sandy beach, whilst the neighbouring beach at Steephill Cove can only be accessed by foot, and offers a quiet secluded beach with a seafront restaurant and even a resident donkey. There is one shallow step which leads up to the front door of this detached single storey cottage, and directly into the open plan lounge/diner. Patio doors from the lounge lead directly out to the wonderfully spacious garden, where guests will find a relaxing patio area complete with chairs and sun loungers, overlooking the generously sized lawns which are bordered by mature shrubs and fruit trees. It is a haven for wildlife with red squirrels and a variety of birds often seen, aswell as clear and twinkly night skies if the weather is right. There is off road parking for one car.
