Prepare for a romantic stay to remember at this Nordic-style glamping hut tucked away off a quiet bridleway. This cosy and compact accommodation has room for two lovers keen to get away from it all and spend some quality time together. There’s a cosy wood burner for cuddling up on those chilly winter nights, plus plenty of scenic outdoor space for absorbing the clean countryside air. Ramblers and cyclists will all be in their element here – though with a BBQ, fire pit hut and private gazebo at your disposal, you’ll be forgiven for wanting to stay in!
On arrival, head up the steps to a small-but-perfectly-formed small space containing a sweet kitchen featuring a butler sink. There are a couple of armchairs for relaxing and the bed area nestled at one end. Floral prints, carefully placed lighting and tasteful artwork create a home-from-home atmosphere where you’ll adore curling up with a book or watching something on the Smart TV. Outside, there’s a private patio area for enjoying coffee for two, plus a good-sized lawn and, to one side, a fire pit hut with seating and cushions where you can chill out in the evenings.
When it’s time to roam out of your blissful idyll, you’ll be 1.5 miles from the nearest pub and 3.5 from shops – we told you it was rural! The hut is equidistant (4.5 miles) from the popular seaside resorts of Sandown and Ryde, both great options for days out by the coast. If ancient history’s your thing, don’t miss a trip to the Brading Roman Villa (4 miles) – or how about taking your loved one for a ride on the Isle of Wight steam railway (3.5 miles)?
