The cottage is nice and clean. However, it took us some days to feel at home because we missed a homely touch.

we booked walnut cottage as we were going to a funeral at nearby Barham crematorium . We had such a lovely peaceful stay, the location was so relaxing and there were rabbits, pheasants and horses at the bottom of the garden. We also visited Port Lympne zoo , and Folkestone garden centre which is just at the top of the road where we enjoyed a cup of tea and cake while waiting to check in . Walnut cottage is a beautiful place to stay and the sunsets are glorious.

This was the second time we've stayed in the property and really enjoyed our time there. The house is very peaceful and a fantastic place to relax, it is well equipped for families and couples to spend a week there. The location is ideal for us to see family members whilst visiting the many museums and amenities that Kent has to offer.
