Access to parts of the main grounds is available with prior agreement. This location is ideal to relax, enjoy award winning restaurants, historic sites, shopping and nature. There are many established footpaths, including walks along the River Thames, ½ mile, and the oldest pathway in England, The Ridgeway, 11 miles, site of the White Horses and Waylands Smithy. Local attractions include Blenheim Palace, Kelmscott Manor, Buscot Park, Chedworth Roman Villa, The Cotswold Wildlife Park and Cotswold Water Park. A large choice of local Market Towns and Cotswold Towns and Villages including Bampton, Burford, Bibury, Cirencester, Witney and Faringdon offer excellent local produce and goods. The surrounding villages are abundant with award winning pubs/restaurants (five within a 6 mile radius) and local attractions from river cruises, galleries, woollen mills, perfumeries and potteries to vineyards, distilleries and breweries.
