Cobnut is a characterful cottage situated on the Heath Farm Estate. With exposed beams and stonework, family and friends are guaranteed a memorable stay making many happy memories in beautiful surroundings.
Upon entering Cobnut, the spacious entrance leads into a vast sitting and dining room with sumptuous seating, solid elm floor, open fireplace and a solid oak, refectory dining table with spectacular views across the fields and valley.
The well-equipped, oak framed kitchen has a granite work top and stainless steel, making this combination of rustic chic and modern appliances the perfect place to create a home cooked meal.
The first floor offers two bedrooms, both boasting super-king size zip and link, handmade hardwood beds, solid oak floors and en-suites. The front bedroom overlooks the shared courtyard and the exquisite en-suite shower room has Venetian marble tiling, exposed stone wall and oak panelling. The rear bedroom looks out across the valley and pond below with the en-suite bathroom featuring Venetian marble tiling and a deep, oak panelled bath.
Outside is a communal courtyard and garden, where you can relax in the peaceful surroundings or enjoy a stroll through the garden whilst enjoying the breathtaking views.
Guests also have use of the communal games room, boasting table tennis, a pool table, musical equipment and much more. There is also a wide selection of toys, games, DVD's and books for guests to borrow whilst they stay.

Cobnut cottage is located in the grounds of Heath Farm in a picturesque landscaped garden with trickling waterfall and plenty of seating areas available .Pleasant woodland walks available from the doorstep too.The interior is extremely well appointed, Excellent quality furnishings ,lovely wood fire and logs (freely available) and spotlessly clean.Self catering is made easy as plenty of quality crockery,glassware,and cookware.The owners are very friendly and professional and always pleasant and easy to chat with.The website is easy to follow and walk through video is available for the cottage to give you a perfect tour before accessing the simple and easy to use booking system .

This was our sixth visit to Heath Farm - honestly, we'd live there, if they'd have us! The property is so comfortable, accommodating, beautiful, warm, and welcoming. Unbelievably, this was the first time I viewed their Games Room: spectacular! Especially if you have rainy days, bored kids, time on your hands. On this visit we stayed 10 days and could have spent a month. There is so much to see and do in the area and the location at Heath Farm is ideal for touring. We had two excellent and celebratory dinners at The Boxing Hare, which is just a few yards down the road. We ordered three loaves of bread from Mark's Cotswold Bakery which is right on the premises. I am actually reluctant to post this positive review because I don't want EVERYONE to discover our magical place in the Cotswolds. The Barbours are exemplary land stewards and it is a privilege to stay at their farm, and in a small way, contribute to what they add to Oxfordshire.
