Kite’s Gate Cottage is a bright and spacious property built in 2011 as part of the Kingham Lodge estate, it has been created with its surroundings in mind and is full of traditional features whilst benefiting from modern comforts.
The open-plan ground floor, with oak flooring throughout, provides a warm and welcoming first impression. The antique furnishings give a real sense of traditional craftsmanship and interest, comfortable seating in the sitting room provides an enjoyable home-from-home feeling. A fully-fitted, well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need to cook for a family and with the door from the kitchen leading to the terrace complete with table, chairs and a barbecue this is a perfect space whatever the time of year.
Kite’s Gate Cottage sleeps six guests across three bedrooms. On the first floor is the master bedroom featuring a king-size four poster bed and en-suite wet room, also on the first floor is the spacious twin bedroom benefitting from a separate family bathroom. Up to the second floor you will find an oak beamed twin bedroom with far reaching views across the Cotswolds countryside. The twin bedrooms can also be configured as super-king size beds, giving your family or friends a great choice of bed configuration.
Whilst staying at Kite’s Gate Cottage you will benefit from access to the beautiful 5 acre gardens of Kingham Lodge as well as access to the indoor heated pool, a traditional Turkish bath, tennis courts and more. And it doesn’t end there, as you are in a prime location to explore all that the Cotswolds has to offer whether it be a 5 minute walk to one of the two village pubs or a short drive to the local historic market town of Stow on the Wold.

Thanks for a wonderful stay. We spent most of our weekend in and around the cottage & village as it was so peaceful. The garden is spectacular; each time we ambled around we discovered something new! The use of the pool and tennis court was much appreciated. We will be back with more of our family to share it with. PS the weather was great too!

What A Wonderful Place! We have just returned from a family gathering at Kingham Cottages. What an absolutely fantastic place. We had three of the properties which provided flexibility to three generations. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully decorated and well equipped. There was something for everyone, swimming, tennis, relaxing in the hammam and those gardens - just stunning! Would recommend 100%.

Wonderful cottages and location - very impressed with the cottages (we had both Kites Gate and Ryeworth to allow 3 families to stay together) - accommodation itself was really well appointed, and access to the indoor pool and hammam was a brilliant bonus. The grounds were exceptional and just having use of these was an absolutely delight - I have no doubt we will be going back there in future. The owner Chris was helpful and supportive for advice upon arrival and throughout our stay as needed, and also allowed us our full space to enjoy the location and its surroundings.
