Guests say

Bailey Cottage receives high praise for its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and additional features such as a hot tub and games room. The property is appreciated for its suitability for families and groups, offering a comfortable and homely atmosphere. Its proximity to local amenities and transport links makes it an ideal base for exploring the area. Guests have enjoyed the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts.

Most guests found Bailey Cottage to be clean and well-maintained, though a few noted areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as dust and dirt visibility. However, these instances appear to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is highly praised for its convenience to transport links, local pubs, and attractions. The proximity to the railway station is noted as beneficial, and despite its closeness, the noise from trains is not seen as intrusive.

Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds and the relaxing decor. The spaciousness of the property contributes to a comfortable stay, although one review suggested bringing personal pillows and duvets for added comfort.

The facilities, including the hot tub, games room, and well-equipped kitchen, are frequently highlighted as highlights of the stay. Some minor maintenance issues were mentioned, such as a leaking shower tray and the need for bulb replacements, but these do not seem to detract significantly from the overall experience.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, with several mentions of a generous welcome hamper and other special touches. While these gifts are greatly appreciated by guests, it is noted that such extras, while delightful, are not guaranteed with every stay.

The accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had been very thoughtfully and creatively adapted from an older building. The facilities were excellent and the owner provided all the information we needed prior to our stay. We would recommend Bailey Cottage.

! What a perfect cottage. Went for a weekend with 3 friends as a foothold from which to enjoy the South Downs. Lovely and clean, all the amenities you might need, wonderful little pub a short walk away and couldn't be easier for my friends coming by train. James was super attentive and very responsive. Thank you James! I can't recommend Bailey Cottage enough...
