A historic and picturesque market town, Arundel is a popular tourist destination for couples visiting Sussex. It is located just outside of the South Downs National Park, and the River Arun winds through it. The city is renowned for its thriving calendar of events and independent shops, contemporary art galleries, restaurants, cafes, and delightful drinking spots, as well as numerous attractions. In Arundel, recreational activities range from walking across the South Downs to canoeing, boating, and cycling; there is something for everyone! Arundel Castle is open to the public from April to October, whereas Arundel Cathedral towers over the town and is accessible on a daily basis. This magnificent structure is well worth the steep climb up the hill and along the cobblestone streets to reach it. Yapton, a rural village that was once a haven for smugglers, is easily accessible and is another historic location. Built around 1180 A.D., St. Mary's Church is located in the village, along with shops, pubs, and a specialty coffee shop. Lovely bottle of prosecco and milk in the fridge. There was tea,coffee and biscuits also available which goes a long way. We also had the pleasure of meeting the Lovely horses. We would highly recommend.

Our new dog Buddy dog enjoyed himself too. We would highly recommend booking one of the pods. As it gives you great access to Arundel, Littlehampton and further afield it you wish. The pods have everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Extremely comfortable and cosy. This was our second stay and we shall be returning again next year. As we still have plenty more places to visit in West and East Sussex. The vibe is perfect for us
