About this property

Cider Press Cottage is an absolute gem of a holiday property and we're delighted to see it undergo a total revamp in early 2015, making it a stylish, spacious country retreat about 10 - 15 mins from the centre of Bath. Built in the 18th century and situated in the grounds of the owners beautiful home, this classic little cottage is every inch the rural retreat. The cottage is detached yet literally just moments from open countryside, with a lovely stroll down the lane to the village and it's local pub, The Ring O'Bells. Each time we visit this cottage we love it even more, for so many different reasons, and the recent update has given it a real lift.

Internally the light colours along with the tasteful furniture give it a real contemporary feel, while all the old period features ensure the charm and character remain within this charming bolt hole. The location of the property is absolutely ideal, a short drive into Bath city centre or a short walk deep into the countryside give this an appeal which sets it apart from so many cottages. This is an absolute belter!

World Heritage Site Bath is a wonderful, modern city with something for everyone. At any time of year, you may enjoy a wide variety of activities, from the world-famous Christmas market to a variety of music, gastronomic, and cultural festivals, as well as world-class theatre shows at the Theatre Royal. Numerous high-quality bars and stores line the streets, and the various cuisines available at these establishments are likely to seduce you. Visit the famed Roman Baths and lovely abbey during your stay in this charming city, and be sure to take in the stunning architecture of Georgian terraces while you're at it!
