The property is gorgeous and has everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible . We were so pleased we chose this property and it did âexactly as it says on the tinâ so to speak. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Many of the rooms had plain decoration and few or no pictures, so the effect was quite modern and minimalist. Us old guys would have preferred something a bit more homely and lived-in, but it didn't really spoil the experience. The rooms are spacious, there were very good "games" and hot tub facilities and a well- equipped kitchen. The location is out in the sticks, so you need to accept that driving will be a part of your stay. Holcombe is handy however for both Wells and Bath where we enjoyed some wonderful days out. The location is also good for visiting Longleat and some excellent nearby food pubs. The Oakhill Inn (about 3 miles away) was excellent and to be recommended.
