Enjoying a rural position on a working farm, just a few miles from the village of Blagdon, is this well-presented pod, Dew Pond. Surrounded by the rolling hills of Somerset, Dew Pond is a relaxing break for couples looking to uncover the delights of this region, with access to many attractions including the Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and the North Somerset coastline. Stepping inside, the pod consists of an open-plan living space; take a seat upon the sofa and reflect on the day's adventures, or move over to the kitchen to whip up something tasty. Mealtimes can be enjoyed at the dining table or why not make the most of the surroundings and enjoy alfresco dining upon the picnic bench? As you look to settle down, there is a neatly presented double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Dew Pond provides a lovely bolthole for accessing the wonders of Somerset, whatever time of year. Note: This pod can be booked with Ref. 1086569, together they sleep four guests. Dew Pond is pet friendly with a doggie exercise paddock in the farm. Guest are advised that bringing a large dog is probably not advisable and are asked to keep their dogs on a lead when not in the paddock area.
The Mendip Hills aonb's northernmost village and civil parish is called Blagdon. It is very interesting and has at least 17 listed buildings, including a church from the fifteenth century. There are two pubs, two convenience stores, and a café available as amenities. The fishing-friendly Blagdon Lake is northeast of the settlement, and the Organic Gardens and a Yeo Valley dairy with a café are also close by. The Mendip Hills are a picturesque walking and cycling destination that should not be missed. There is undoubtedly something in the neighbourhood to suit every taste, including a traditional day at the beach in Weston-super-Mare. The spectacular cities of Bristol and Bath, which are both only 12 miles apart, are also close by and well worth a visit because they include stunning architecture as well as a wide range of first-rate services and activities to keep you busy while you're there.
