Swallow Barns is highly praised for its immaculate condition, welcoming hosts, and tranquil setting. Guests consistently commend the property's cleanliness, comfort, and well-maintained facilities. Its proximity to local amenities and attractions in Bristol and Bath adds to its appeal. The thoughtful touches by the owners contribute to a memorable stay, although such gestures are not guaranteed.
Reviews frequently highlight the spotless and well-kept nature of the property, with many guests noting the cleanliness as a standout feature. However, a few minor comments about dust and crumbs slightly affect the score.
The property is appreciated for its quiet, peaceful location with easy access to nearby towns and attractions. Its proximity to amenities and the countryside is well-received, although no specific negative comments were made to reduce the score significantly.
Guests are pleased with the comfortable furnishings, cosy atmosphere, and well-designed bedrooms and bathrooms. The property is described as a home from home, with only minor suggestions for improvement.
The facilities are generally regarded as excellent, with a few guests suggesting additional kitchen implements and mentioning a noisy extractor fan. These small maintenance issues lead to a slightly lower score.
While the reviews reflect positively on the owners' hospitality and the overall experience, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful gestures that could be quantified in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The weather turned chilly while we were there but the heating was adequate so we were toasty warm

Everything is finished to a high standard and was clean throughout. We liked the sense of isolation even though we were just five minutes from all the facilities in Yate. One minor comment would be about the towels. Why present everything else to such a high standard and then present guests with a scraggy set of towels when they first arrive? Also, the outdoor light by the bedroom doesn't work properly and we tripped over the step a couple of times. These are quite picky things but worth sharing given that everything else was so good.
